Does Prusament work on MK2S?
Hello,
I am curious to see if anyone else has issues with using Prusament on a MK2S. I recently bought Galaxy Silver directly from Prusa then bought Pearl Mouse from Amazon. It seems to clog no matter what I try. Here's what I have tried based on the suggestions I've found across the web.
- Switched the nozzle out from old 0.35mm back to standard new 0.40mm.
- As suggested, tried kicking up the temperature to 225°C.
- Tried latest version of PrusaSlicer which has default settings for Prusament.
All end in the same result of hearing and seeing the extruder clicking. I thought, "okay maybe it's the extruder that's going bad?" I then test out my usual filaments- eSun PLA+, the old Prusa PLA, Fillamentum Vertigo Grey, and Atomic Filament PLA with no issue. I just ran through an entire 1K roll of eSun without issues. Before this roll I was trying simple prints like a Benchy but it couldn't finish the top part. It's strange but I have to ask is Prusament possibly incompatible with older machines like the MK2S? I have run out of ideas.
(I'll add pictures later)
If this is in the wrong topic section, please let me know. Thanks

Hi @lucas-d
How did it go? Can you use it?
Mine is complete garbage, but my eSun does a super fine job with the same settings (shown here).
