Thermal Runaway and Melted Hotend Thermistor Cables

Hi all, I've had my Mk2s since the beggining of this year. I never had any real hardware problems so far, only small things related to me not cleaning it properly at times.

Last night Ieft a print overnight that was about 7 hours. This morning it was finished correctly, so I removed it and went to print another part but got the THERMAL RUNAWAY error. I read a bit online about what it was, and went to check the thermistors and found the heatbed thermistor in what looks to me a pretty bad state. I did smell a weird smell during the print last night, but it didn't really smell like burning and I had just switched to a new filament and though it might just be that (this may be me overthinking, I don't know if this is something that happens during one print or it adds up with use).

What should I do now? I assume I need to change these cables and maybe the thermistor if it's damaged? Where could I get one?
I found this link https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/hardware-firmware-and-software-help-f59/hotend-thermistor-replacement-for-mk2s-t15847.html
But I can't see any in the store even when I'm logged in.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also I should add that the bed seems to be heating up fine, it is the hotend that starts dropping in temperature before the error appears

Follow up, I found people recommend Semitec 104GT as a replacement. I am in Argentina, so buying from a US seller is a pain. I found this local seller that claims to sell original an original Semitec 104GT. Does this look ok to you? (the page is in Spanish, sorry!)

Thanks!

EDIT: or would a screwable one like this one be better? https://3dinsumos.com.ar/Producto/3DPrinter-TermistorConRosca104GT-2

Having a closer look, it seems that both the thermistor and the heater cartridge cables may be damaged. I will probably have to test them to find out, or replace both of them to be sure.
Before the error the registered temperature was going up to about 77 before it started dropping. So it may be that the readings were correct and the heater is failing.

In case it might help anyone, the correct replacement parts seem to be:
