Prusa mk2s y axis seems to move too much during calibration

I'm having an issue with my mk2s where my printer seems to be moving too far in the y direction causing the pinda to miss the bed calibration point. Ive tried flashing the firmware which didnt work as well as making sure the probe actually sees the calibration points which it does. Any advice?

Check the distance between the back of the Z frame and the nearest edge of the corner posts. It should be 100mm or very close. The calibration points are meant to be in the pinda search range at that distance. If that distance is wrong by enough to make the place where pinda sees the calibration point outside the allowed range then calibration will rightly fail.

Frame is within super close within maybe a quater of a mm or so. Doesnt seem far enough off the cause that much of an off set

Can you use the LCD menu scroll all the way down to Support then all the way to xyz cal details and report the figures there?

Make sure you don't have any filament strands (or similar) wrapped around the Y pulley.
