Problem with Y axis stop
All,
When my Prusa i3 MK2s starts printing, it doesn't stop when traversing the Y axis during the calibration phase. There is a limit switch there, and it seems to hit it fine, but it seems to be ignored. After this happens, the printer works fine with no issues at all. I don't want to ignore it because I'm sure it will wear out my belts pretty quick.

Finally solved this today, but I’m confused as to why this wasn’t a problem since day 1.
It ended up being a tiny bit of excess belt from the Y axis that was preventing the connector from hitting the limit switch. That excess has always been there, but this problem did not always occur.
I trimmed the slack close to the connector, and then it worked fine.

I take it, that the y axis endstop used to work, have you changed anything?
check your Y axis endstop by manually operating it as soon as the y axis starts moving.
If it doesn't work, then the switch may be faulty
if the button goes in and out, check the switch resistance changes between o ohms and infinite ohms

over a period of time the microswitch action may 'relax' and activate in a different position.
this is likely to need progressively more movement as the switch ages. and is likely to be intermittent for a while...
Probably worth ordering a new switch to have in stock...
