Printing stops for one hour and incorrectly resumes

firmware 2.3.2, material: microcenter PETG, gcode created by PruseSlicer Version 2.0.0 +win64

At time = 0, the print started without issues.  A video camera recorded the process.

At time =  1hour:12minutes, the X/Y/E axes stop.  The extruder remains hot (I observed crater on the print).

At time = 2hours:20minutes, the X/Y/E axes resume the build process much later in the gcode.

At time = 2hours:20minutes:16seconds, X/Y/possiblyE axes stop while Z moves upward, then printing resumes.

At time = 4hours:34minutes, printing stops as if the print was successful.

The video shows two printers: orange is a MK2, black is a MK3.  Both are printing the same part (files are both created in PrusaSlicer with different MK2 and MK3 configurations).  The black MK3 printer is not having any issues.

What could cause this problem?  This printer has successfully printed many PLA parts.  It has not been used for PETG before.

RE: Printing stops for one hour and incorrectly resumes

Do you mean Firmware 3.2.3?

This sounds like a comms error printing from a serial connection that somehow reconnects.

Are you printing from SD card or using a different method? If SD card it sounds like that card may be corrupt - or at least the file on the card. Try using a different card or saving a new copy of the gcode under a different name (leaving the old file in place guarantees the new file will not try to write to the possibly bad sectors used by the original file).

If you are using pronterface or Octoprint, then try using the SD card instead.
