Pinda Heating

I updated my MK2S firmware to 3.1.0. I'm now having a problem where when I run a Gcode file. The heat bed and nozzle come to temperature, the printer will home XYZ like normal but then travel approximately 30mm in the X and the display shows HEATING PINDA 120. It counts down from 120 to 0 and then does mesh bed level and prints the part. It's never done this before. I've reset, reloaded, recalibrated....and I don't see a way of stopping this function.

Thanks,
Gary

Re: Pinda Heating

On the LCD menu - Calibration | Temp. calibration there is an option for PINDA Temp. cal. - click that to turn it off. Click again to turn it on if you want to use it. The theory is that by heating the PINDA before bed levelling you get a more consistent reading. The same effect most of us get from preheating with the PINDA at a constant Z height (100mm in my case).

Thank you Bill. I hoped it would be that simple.
