Need advice on printing spare parts for my MK2S
So far I haven't printed any extra parts for my printer, but would like to do so at some point. This thing has been running like a champ for over a year now, but I would rather have spares than not.
I have only printed with pla, but I have a good handle on it different shapes and sizes of things I have printed.
Abs is not something I would like to print because I don't have an enclosure and the toxic fumes.
My main concern is the extruder body warping or being damaged and me not being able to print at all.
What material is recommended I use to print spare parts?
A friend mentioned I could try Raptor Pla and anneal it. Would that be sufficient? Or do I need to print it in something tougher like PC? Can my printer even handle the necessary temperatures for PC? The brands I found on amazon vary from 250-300 for nozzle temp.

It is possible to print ABS without an enclosure and the toxic fumes are not as bad as you imagine as long as you are not printing in a small confined space. That said, Prusa are now using PETG to print their parts, you could try that.
PC with lower temperatures is available.
You can buy the parts you want from Prusa. Talk to Prusa Chat online and look for Plastic Parts in the Prusa store when you are logged in.

I think I am either going to try a roll of pc and try it or I did some some people have their extruder printed in sls nylon which is rated over 180c. It's not that much more vs buying a roll of pc. The other thought was maybe updating the ptfe tube to capricorn which is rated for 300c and I wouldn't have to worry about that burning or melting. I need to do more research on capricorn though as I don't personally know anyone that has it, but I have seen quite a few on youtube that use it with good results.

I just sent an email off to E3D to see what their take is on the ptfe tubes and if it's safe to push them past 260c in the V6. I'm guessing it's ok since the ptfe is on the cold side and not touching the nozzle, but we will see what they say. Anxious to crank this printer up for new filament types.

The only limitation with the V6 is the thermistor, which will work up to about 295 degrees.
The PTFE is located in the cold end of the extruder and is not subject to any particularly high temps - unless you have a hardware malfunction.
