live z calibration not being saved
After setting up the live z offset on my prusa mk2 it prints fine on the first print. But every print i have to add to my live z offset. so for example first print is -0.5 second print is -1.0 third print i need to set it to -1.5 and so on. For some reason the z offset doesnt get saved but it shows it as if it does. THis started happening when i moved houses.
I cleared calibration and re did a full xyz calibration - (passes)
I ran a self test (passes)
I have run the calibration gcode built within the os and updated my firmware to the latest available.
I use Prusa Slic3r to export my files.
Prusa Mk2S firmware 3.1.0
Rambo13a
Checked nozzle its firm
PID is secured firmly
any suggestions?
Re: live z calibration not being saved
Try letting the bed cool down before starting the next print. You probably have pinda readings changing due to temperature differences.
Re: live z calibration not being saved
or, try moving your extruder to about 60mm before starting heating for every print...
the Pinda appears to be temperature sensitive
it gets hotter when heating for a print from a low level, which leads to inconclusive z height, and repeated adjustments make matters worse!
