They were oiled, but they are loose. you could wiggle them to the side , so they had more motion then they are supposed to have (linear) . They are really quiet , motors dont even get warm to the touch same with LM8UU . The contact metal on metal makes noise. these just slide . Once you try it you will not go back .

Thomas Sanladerer just put a video on YouTube looking into IGUS polymer bushings and comparing them against the traditional linear bearings. It contains some interesting information.

In the comments, he also hints at doing a video in the future on using the IGUS filament to print your own bushings.
