Left Hotend Fan Error

Selftest Error !
Please check:
Left hotend fan?
Wiring error
______________________________________
I received the above error during my initial self-test, since then I have verified and re-verified the two fans are plugged into the correct connection.
If I heat the nozzle, the Left Hotend Fan will come on; if I run the self-test while the fan is running, the fan will stop running until the self-test has completed.
When the self-test runs, the fan never tries to spin.

When I try and perform a First Layer Cal. the second fan does not turn-on to cool the material. I have verified the fan does work when power is applied.

Thoughts

Re: Left Hotend Fan Error

Connector wrong way round on the Rambo? Connected to the wrong pins? It's really cramped in that little box, maybe use a magnifier to see up close just how well you are/are not connected up. If you still don't see anything wrong take a photo and compare it to a zoomed in illustration in the online build manual.

The calibration flow means you really need to pass self test before moving on - no good can come from jumping ahead before you pass the first test. If the thermistors did not pass self test and you heated the nozzle/bed you could literally be playing with fire.

Good luck.

So, yeah, the print fan was not on the second pin. I moved the connector and ran the self test two times with a failure, the third time everything passed.

Thanks for the advise.
