Latest Firmware issue
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I went to print something last night, and the print screen informed me of a new firmware release, 3.1.3 I think.... . So I download it per directions and installed. After installing, I selected print from SD card. As the printer was warming up, I got an error message about the extruder fan. The fan was running and powering on fine, but no matter what I did I kept getting the error message. I began trouble shooting, and found no solution. It was fine the night prior. I checked all wiring And found nothing out of the ordinary. I ran a self test, and it failed immediately. So I reverted to the previous firmware 3.1.0 and everything was fine. Is there an issue with the latest firmware that would cause the extruder fan to report an error or fail the self test?
Re: Latest Firmware issue
What printer are you running? Current MK2S firmware is still 3.1.0.

Re: Latest Firmware issue
Hi James
the latest files are
you may have chosen the "slic3r pe" profile for the wrong printer, (probably Mk2.5 or Mk3, where there is a tacho output on the hot end fan, that shows automatically, when the fan is working)
the printer start gcode in Slic3r, describes the latest firmware (for that model of printer).
as shown by the M115 command line, in the image above
