Infill is visible on the outer perimeter CURA

Hello,
Last days I use the last version of Cura with MK2/s and I have very good results. I like very much the step infill it has. It saves me many hours of printing and material.

The question I have is that I can see on the outer perimeter the infill's lines and I have to sand my parts after print. I use the settings provided by Cura. one thing I tried is to tune down infill overlap from 10% to 3%. This helped a little but the lines are still there. Any ideas what is responsible for this? Below there is a photo where you can see the lines.
Thanks,
john

Re: Infill is visible on the outer perimeter CURA

Hello,

The cause of the infill showing through the walls is that Cura by default prints the infill before the perimeters. Slic3r on the other hand prints the perimeters first and then the infill.

The easiest way to configure Cura to do what Slic3r does is to uncheck the Infill before walls option in the Infill setting of Cura.

Hope that helps,

Don
