Heatbed soldering

Greetings,
Please forgive my question, I tried to search but found nothing. Please also bear my terrible english...

A heatbed wire was broken on my MK2s. I tried to desolder it, however I can't achieve melting this solder.

At what temperature do I need to put my iron to desolder this broken cable ?

Thank you.

Re: Heatbed soldering

Hi Pierre
I use a 50 watt temperature controlled soldering iron with a chunky tip. set to about 350C,

I put the iron on the joint and add some fresh solder to begin the melt.

Your English is fine, far better than my French!
regards Joan

Hi Joan,
Thank you very much ! I used an old 150W iron, and it worked.
Best regards,
