heatbed plug

hello any one know how to fix a new connector on to heatbed cable that fixes to Rambo board
plus what is that plug called.

Remove it and solder the cables directly onto the board.

Drastic not at all, just reasonable and durable.
There are lots of threads around here about this conector. And still, once successfully replaced it most likely will melt again sooner or later...

Best soldered. Otherwise you will have problems.

Just solder some tails to the board and use decent 20 Amp clip connectors.

I had the same problem: melted connector. I also just soldered a piece of wire direct to the platine and it works very well. I then soldered the piece of wire to the heatbed wires.

If you want to have a removable solution I would suggest to use a pair of gold connectors. 2mm gold plugs would be sufficient. They are easy to get in hobby stores.

If quite a number of people have this problem, the developers should think about using another kind of connectors. I think the problem occurs because of the resistance of the connection.
