Extruder Body

Hi! My printer has a huge clog. Try heating it, the needle, and everything as usual but the filament is not going through and the clogged is located on the extruder body.

I tried first to unscrew the extruder but as I did I accidentally unscrew it from the body. The good thing is that I push the needle though and realize the clog is on the body. The bad news is that I cannot screw the extruder to the body back again to dismantle the whole body and extruder, since as I mentioned, the clog is on the extruder body. Are there any steps to go through this problem? do I have to change the whole body? and how would I be able to do so if it is not screwed anymore to the extruder?

I have a prusa i3 MK2

Appreciate any feedback. Thanks a lot!

RE: Extruder Body

Disassemble the heatsink from the extruder housing,

Is the heatbreak still in the heater block,
If so, try pushing the PTFE tube inti the heatsink and out of the bottom end of the heatsink.
If it will push out, clear the PTFE Tube, and consider reassembling,

you may prefer to install a new PTFE tube at this stage, there is usually one in the spares bag.

Hi Joan! thanks again for your reply. I found a piece of filament stock in the heatsink and now I'm able to slide the filament all the way through. My problem now is that I cannot put together again the heatsink and the extruder housing as you can see on the picture. Do you see something missing? how do I assemble it again?
