Cura, PrusaControl settings ?

Hi all, I have been getting back to using my Mk2 Prusa which was bought and built about 2 years ago. I have downloaded prints from Thingiverse, slicing in Prusa control and achieving great results. Recently I have been downloading a R/c plane fuselage, just the right side so the left has to be mirrored. I attempted to mirror in Tinkercad but it would not show all the internal structure it required, so I used Cura which successfully did mirror all the structure as required. On printing from Cura (left side) I have not achieved the quality of print that I achieved with Prusa Control on the right side. I do realise it is probably that the Cura settings do not match Prusa Control so my questions are what is the best way to correct this and why does Tinkercad have a problem importing this particular print?, it was a hollow shell with minimal internal structure. Thanks Jez

Hi Jeremy,

why not use Slic3r and mirror the model in that?

Re: Cura, PrusaControl settings ?

Hi Joan, I will try Slic3r, but do you know why I had a problem with Tinkercad and why did Cura produce such an inferior print. I don't understand the influence Cura had on the print. I know that the print settings can be changed in Cura , can I match these settings to the settings of my printer ? I am a little confused here and would like to understand what is going on. Thanks for your help. Jez
