Calibration issues
I have a MK2S thats been working great. decided to replace the heat sink and took the extruder apart all replaced no issues with heating. Heres what does work:
Self Test: Passes
Z Calibration works fine.
I've checked my Pinda Probe and it lights up and does acknowledge a metal object underneath it. The Pinda probe is now lowered to almost the same level as my nozzle, not sure I could lower it anymore.
i'm updated to current firmware
problem comes when I try to do XYZ Calibration it gives me an error and says "Bed calibration point not found" and the extruder nozzle is about 1/4" from the bed.
Any thoughts? I've been google searching and nothing really helpful.
RE: Calibration issues
Have you done a factory reset since the rebuild?
Cheerio,
RE: Calibration issues
Just did factory reset. Auto home worked. The xyz calibration stops about 1/4 inch from the bed and after about 2 back and forth ot stops and gives the same error.
FYI. The self test passes. The z calibration passes, the mesh bed leveling passes. Its just the xyz calibration that fails on step 1 of 4.
Ughhhhh. Frustrated, everything was fine until I replaced parts of the extruder.

@doug
OK, this is out of my area; I suggest you contact Prusa support.
Log into your shop account, navigate to support and raise a chat session; that's bottom right in most browsers.
Cheerio,
RE: Calibration issues
Contacted support and all worked. Now it's a different problem.
During xyz calibration it locates point 1 amd goes back and forth to fine tune it.
Then it barely goes over point 2 and immediately moves to point 3.
I know the pinda works, I can move the extruder around the bed and the light goes out at all 9 points.
I'm at a loss as to why it skips point 2! It continues with the calibration and keeps doing more iterations
RE: Calibration issues
It may be finding point 2 exactly where it expects it...
Does the calibration complete OK?
Can you get a good Z level and make a trial print?
Cheerio,
