Bed/Nozzle Base Temperature Problems + Flashing Failure

Hello everyone,

Me and my dad are working on a MK2 which we're eventually looking to upgrade to a 2.5, but there have been a few problems we just can't figure out. I'm not sure if these problems are related at all or not, but I thought I'd slap them into the same topic just in case. We've tried out a lot of things (we honestly can't even remember what all at this point, as this has been going on for months now), so anything at all that we could test out would be very helpful.

First problem: The heatbed and the nozzle show the base temperatures as follows:

The temperatures of both were actually at 21°c when that photo was taken.

Everything except for these values work perfectly well. Obviously this doesn't get us through all of the calibration process, but when we tried printing regardless it worked well with PLA, as in it printed everything ok. There has been some 20°c differences in the nozzle temperature on the screen vs the actual temperature when printing. Also the end cooldown obviously fails because the temperatures on screen never go below the values shown.

This problem has been present ever since we originally flashed MK1 into the RAMbo drive we're using, and it's persisted ever since even when we were hoping flashing MK2 to it immediately after would solve things.

These things I know for sure we have tried:
- Changing ALL thermometers and checking they work properly
- Resetting to factory default
- Checking the wiring

Second problem: Just for the heck of it we tried to flash MK2.5 into the drive, but it always fails in the process, leaving the loading squares on the screen. Flashing back to MK2 has worked to get us back to the starting point, but the temperature problem always stays the same.

And just as a disclaimer, my dad doesn't speak English but he's the one doing all the mechanical finetuning of our printers, so it might take me some time to get further details if they're needed. We have one working MK2.5 in use so this has been a lower priority project, but the standstill no matter what we do has us both stumped at this point.

Thanks in advance!
