Bed no more perfectly flat

Hi,

Some month ago I started printing exclusively OWA PS filament. They recommend to set bed temperature at 90-100°C.

Now, I am printing PLA and notice some bumps. I can feel with my hand 2 bumps on the heated bed (One in the middle on the screw and one on the right.). I suppose this is due to the heated bed glue when I printed with PS filament.

I raised the temperature to 100°C during 10min and push with a spatula to flatten the surface. Without any effect.

Then I do the same thing with something more sharp. I can feel a difference (not a good one), the bump now feel like a "donut".

Is there a proper way to flatten the bed ?

This is posted in a MK2 forum, but with the smooth PEI sheet on the MK3, the glue can be displaced leaving small gas bubbles and ridges.  In time, they usually get reabsorbed.  Using the other side for a while usually does the trick since this keeps the "deformed" side next to the heat.  It can take several days for the bumps to resolve depending on how much you print.
