Are there any files for trapezoidal nut metal adaptation?
Hey all. I was gifted an old Geeetech i3 clone. I have been upgrading it and building it into an MK2S. It's been a fun process. The old Geeetech used 1mm thread pitch threaded rod for the lead screws. I went and bought the right lead screws and the plastic trapezoidal nuts. I must have not been paying attention while fiddling with it because when I went to to assemble the gantry, one nut is cross-threaded.
It seems kinda dumb to buy another set when I have some nice metal nuts that came with the lead screws I bought. I just don't have a good way of attaching them.
I'm sure I can come up with something, I just wanted to see if anyone has any files or suggestions before I plow forward.
