Replacing PEI sheet on thin film of water?
I have seen videos where e.g. kapton tape was applied to a heatbed on a thin layer of water. That made it easier to correctly position the tape and then squeeze out the water.
Can the same procedure be used replacing the PEI sheet or is that not advisable?
Re: Replacing PEI sheet on thin film of water?
I have used a wet water spray with kapton tape, but the PEI is much stiffer and it's not necessary to use a water spray for that.
Just tape it to one side with the backing in place to align it and then gradually peel off the backing and stick it down.

I have tried the water methos and the method Peter described is easier and water is not really need with PEI.

Ok. I'll do it the conventional way then.
Thanks.
