Prusa MK2S upgrade questions

Hi prusa community!!!! About 6 months ago i was given the opportunity to fix an mk2s and keep it (this was my first ever experience with a 3d printer) Long story short i had to replace a few parts and i took it home around early june.

Its been running amazingly since then but now that its working consistently ive been wanting to upgrade it to mk3.5s

I already research into klipper and all that stuff so im set with that but the 2 things im definitely gonna need help with are the toolhead and the frame

regarding the toolhead, is it possible to just print out the MK3 parts with the angled blower fan and such and place the stock MK2 parts in or are there other things i need to buy like extra extruder gears or whatever.

Now regarding the frame, How do you go about replacing the threaded rod assembly with the black beams that are seen on the mk3 and mk4? are those also things you can just replace without extra parts?

RE: Prusa MK2S upgrade questions

the Mk2 frame and the mk 3 / mk4 ftames  are different. there is no way to convert a mk2 frame to mk3, sensibly.

your best bet would be to find someone who has upgraded to a 'Bear'  or 'Zaribo' or 'Caribou' frame, and buy their old frame
