Pruament in real life: there is any noticeable difference?

Prusa's Prusament is advertised as a 'better' alternative for other brands of PLA and PETG which Prusa (and others) sell.

There is any noticeable difference in real life between Prusament and similar offerings in Prusa's eShop? Is it worth the price difference?

I just started using it and it seems to be lik emany top shelf filaments and delivers top quality printing If it worth the price over Amazon or other bargain filaments? Time will tell and I wil let you know at the end for the spool.

Some of the colors are nice, I did get some printing done before my printer fell into disrepair and I wouldn't say the quality was better than Hatchbox for example, but definitely better than the cheaper alternatives.

The price is a mid-low range, nothing superior. Had no issues so far with black which looks pretty nice.

The Mystic Brown is a very interesting color. Sort color changing in that single vase mode or or dual layer prints tend to be purpleish and solids are the brown tone.   When printed slowly enough the vertical surface sheen on solids is a beautiful semigloss metallic brown -- but I was never able to make top layers look as good as the sides.

I have to say the print quality was very good - with very little surface variation I have seen on cheap filaments: no significant basket weave look that I often attribute to filament diameter variation; just a relatively smooth surface.

I think that colors are of good quality, I ordered several times from online-shop, even to my property in Berlin and every time it didn't disappointed me. I am ready to pay a little more for the quality.
