Hi Kaleb,

the Mk2 Pinda is a contrary beast... there have been descriptions on here before...

as the Pinda heats up, it's sensitivity changes... please believe me...

get into the habit of ALLWAYS raising the extruder to about 60mm above the heat bed, before starting heating...

this will reduce the heating effect of the heatbed...

re do your First layer calibration using the V2 calibration file, or probably better Jeff Jordan's "Life adjust Z my way"
then raise the extruder to 60mm again before starting the peint, and you should have less issues

probably a good idea to clean the heat bed again too... try Dish detergent & water solution and dry well with a clean paper towel

always clean your bed cold... if it's hot, the solvents tend to evaporate before they do any good

once your heatbed is Grease free, you should be able to do consecutive prints without re cleaning the heatbed, Try to keepp your fingers off the heatbed surface, when releasing models, it's surprising how much grease you can get off your fingers...

periodic wipes with Isopropyl Alcohol, & occasional wipes with Acetone, should keep your PEI working for ages, If all else fails, wash again, and consider using the rough side of a CLEAN kitchen sponge or say 600 grit wet and dry...

regards Joan
