MK 2.5 Upgrade without powder-coated sheets
First I feel compelled to start saying I’m very happy with my MK2S. I’ve had it nearly a year to the day.
I was anticipating getting the upgrade kit. I have a $20 coupon from a survey I did, and I figured I could add some filament to get over the $200 minimum and take advantage of free shipping.
But now I see it just isn’t an option, even if I am willing to wait. It’s the worst case scenario because if I just ordered the kit without the powder coated sheets I would end up ordering the powder sheet when it comes with ridiculous shipping rate.
Anyone else with this conundrum? I hate to waste the coupon (which expires at the end of the year) but this removable powder-coated surface was my primary factor for wanting the upgrade in the first place.
