Help! Need Replacement Hotend Assembly!

I can't find a new "Prusa V6 HotEnd (MK2)" assembly anywhere in the USA.

All of the eBay stores, E3D's website, and Prusa all ship from Europe.

Paying for international air shipping is unacceptable, this is just a hobby.

I need a replacement hotend ASAP, are there any that ship from the USA?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Both of these sell genuine parts.

Filastruder - absolutely.  Grade A service and quick to ship.  From near Atlanta, GA.

Printed Soldier - absolutely.  Grade A service and very knowledgible to deal with.  Never had an issue with any orders.  One defective product that was replaced in 72 hours.

Filament one - Probably the best service of them all.

Have you looked at filastruder, printer solid, or matter hackers?

Thanks Chuck!

It turns out I had an old MMU1 kit laying around,

which apparently comes with a whole new hotend for some reason.

Whew!  Used-up an entire year's luck in one day!

A lot of printers come with an extra hotend.  Prusa does not.  I am glad you found one.  I would still buy one.

Here are my options.  Can i trust these guys to sell genuine parts?  Which one do you think is the best purchase?  The cheapest?  Haha.  ^_^

Filastruder, Ships From USA, $80 part + $4 shipping

https://www.filastruder.com/collections/prusa-specific/products/prusa-specific-e3d-v6-hotend-mk2-mk3?variant=32587811749959

Printed Solid, Ships From USA, $74 part + Free shipping

https://www.printedsolid.com/collections/prusa/products/e3d-12v-prusa-mk2-v6-hot-end-kit

E3D, Ships From Europe, $50 part + $15 shipping

https://e3d-online.com/products/prusa-v6-hotend?variant=34172334964795

Honestly, probably will just buy from E3D and suck-it-up and wait for it.

Hey there,

As per my knowledge, Shipping from Europe can be a real pain, especially when you're just trying to enjoy your hobby without breaking the bank.

Have you checked out any local 3D printing communities or forums? Sometimes, enthusiasts have spare parts or can point you in the right direction. Also, consider reaching out to smaller online retailers or local stores that specialize in 3D printing supplies. They might have what you need and can ship it faster and more affordably.

Another option could be checking with US-based distributors or resellers of Prusa products. Even if they don't have it listed on their website, a quick email or phone call might reveal that they have the part in stock.

I hope this will help you.
