First of all, being new here, greetings to all.

I took the plunge and ordered mine in beginning of January, and, the anxious wait is slowly progressing.

Wonder what is happening to the black (I ordered in black).

Some time ago I saw the black wash shipping quicker, now seems to be the opposite..... hope not.....

As a follow up my printer was sent about 10 days late but that may have something to do with it being international. Should be receiving it today according to tracking so I'm quite excited. Patience guys, it will be worth it! 😀

Ordered on December 11th, shipped on January 26th, received in California on Feb 1st. Halfway though the build and loving every minute of it so far.

Cant wait to start printing everything.

MK2 Assembled. Ordered 12/1/16. Out for shipping at Prusa 1/30/17. Arrives today 2/3/17 so 4 days from shipping. The current shipping info on the Prusa order history page says the assembled MK2s are scheduled to ship starting 2/6/17 so they are about 1 week ahead of that schedule. It's fun to watch how fast the shipment moved from Prusa's door to mine.. Impressive. My orders from Sparkfun, located just north of me in Colorado, always take from 7 to 10 days to arrive. Not impressive.

I noticed the shipping schedule is no longer up under my order. Anyone else notice this or am I missing something? Ordered mine 12/31. Last few people to post on this thread that had there's shipped were purchased in early Dec. Any one order mid to late Dec have there's shipped yet?

The schedule seems to have been removed from the order page.

They are probably still snowed under with orders. Wasn't it something like they were shipping out 2000 a month?

They say the "shipping schedule" will be updated today.

I placed my order om 22th of December. They just confirmed that they will be shipping it this week!

Ordered: 21/Nov (kit, black)
Shipped: 25/Jan
In my hands: 1/Feb (Australia)

This seems worse case, but worth the wait, a lot of fun so far!

If waiting for the kit, take the time to read the online manual AND SPECIFICALLY ALL THE COMMENTS associated with each step, some gems in there that will save you time, frustration and damage...

Any idea on why the black-colored printers are delayed? I ordered one of those on December 9 and there's still no word.

@JBTERRA: No tracking number yet!

I have ordered the printer (22th December) with all black parts and wondered if I'd better try to change to orange parts. Yesterday they told me that black parts will delay shipping only a few day (2-3) and that it will be shipped this week. I'm not sure why there is a delay though! Anyway, I can wait a few more days, so I'll stick to the black parts.

The delay is usually due to the fact that they print more orange parts than black parts. Josef Prusa hinted on Facebook a few times that orange might be quicker to get.

Still wish he would post here as well and not just on facebook 🙁

Ordered my Orange kit on December 24th and just got a shipping email from Prusa. I'm excited now, it might even make it here this week.

Ordered mine late Dec as well. Chatted with rep yesterday, and he looked up order and said it would be packaged and mailed next week. I'm guessing he was just going off of the shipping schedule that is back up. So still waiting patiently.

In the meantime, I have purchased and learned all about Raspberry Pi's and Octoprint. I now not only have my raspberry pi set up with a touch screen loaded with Octoprint, I've also configured it so that I can control printer from any place with Wi-fi. At least I've put the time to good use.

Ordered on the 27th of December. Just got an email that it is currently in transit. Looking at the shipping label shows that the label has been created, but hasn't moved yet. According to my order page it's still on back-order. Not sure if it's actually on back-order and they just printed the label ahead of time, triggering the email, or if it has been boxed and is waiting in a loading bay somewhere. I ordered a kit. I guess we shall see! I've ordered everything from a Pi 3 (to replace the Pi 2 I'm using as a pihole and gonna use the pi 2 with octoprint) to some needle files, tweezers, and flush snips.

In my case the order showed up as "in backorder" even after the package was in transit according to UPS. So IMHO you should trust UPS rather than the orders page as the latter is not updated in real time.

Mine arrived today, in the middle of Nebraska. The shipment email was sent on Feb. 3rd, and arrived on Feb. 8th. That's pretty impressive for an oversea shipment! Definitely looking forward to putting this together over the next few days. 😀

UPDATE: Mine was scheduled to ship next week, and when I contacted them on Monday they confirmed it would be packaged and shipped next week. HOWEVER, I received tracking email earlier today, so seems to be running a week early for standard kit.
