Comparing Belt Tension

Hey all,

I'm curious to know what your relative belt tensions are at. I've set my bed to home position such that the length of the top portion of the belt from the pulley to the bed is about 23cm (9 in.). Likewise, I set the x axis belt top portion to the roughly the same length from bearing to pulley and measured the fundamental frequencies of both portions with my phone and a simple frequency analyzer app (n-Track Tuner). They are both sitting around 105 hz.
This is after I tightened them recently and they seem squeakier. Additionally the z threaded rods sway when the x axis moves so I worry they are over tightened. If some folks could repeat this experiment and let me know their results that would be great.

Re: Comparing Belt Tension

Along the same line of question:

What is the meaning of the Support > Belt Status values displayed on the MK3 display?

I cannot seem to find much about it, someone mentioned in another thread that is should be 240 +/- 40 but I'd like to read up on what it means exactly.

I would also like to know what the Settings > X-correct / Y-correct and z-correct functions do. I came across them while calibrating the E-correct value.
