Buying used Prusa MK3

I’ve come across a used prusa for $300 this seems like a good deal to pass up. I have a few questions that I figured the prusa subreddit may help with.

Being that I only 3d print for a hobby and only used a Monoprice select mini should I jump the gun, it seems that the open source factor of the printer may be for more advanced 3d print users but I’m open for a challenge. Anything I should look for to ensure it’s in working order other than a test print? Is there a counter for how many hours it has been used? Is this a really good deal that should not be passed up? TIA

Turns out it was a MK2, not as intrigued in buying anymore.

Hi Henrry,

being open source should not be a problem for you.
if you need spares you can buy direct from Prusa or a reseller

it's an advantage that other people can use the open source information, for their benefit
