Suddenly, print not sticking to bed well enough

I printed a couple of KGs of PLA (and some ABS) on my printer with very few issues.

A couple of days ago, I tried to print a this check valve (but turned 90 degrees on the Y axis, so the first layer of each of the two bigger parts is a "ring".

At some point during the print, the smaller part detached from the bed. I know it doesn't have a lot of surface, but I don't remember this being an issue in the past. My second attempt was to print this with a single layer raft. This was the end result (stopped the printer after the first layer):

What I see is that when the raft had longer lines, it was fine. When lines were shorter, they just lifted. I'd really appreciate any suggestion on how to try and fix this. A few notes:

  • I tried Z-calibration. Seems to be very good. Also, nothing changed recently, and the printer wasn't moved.

  • This is Orange PLA from an old Makerbot reel (300g) that's a few years old, but was sealed in a box. I used other reels from Makerbot with no issue.
Mentioning as it might need a slightly different temperature, but I don't know.

  • Bed was cleaned with alcohol, as I've done in the past.

  • Printed with the standard 0.15mm setting that came from Prusa, sliced with slic3r.
  • I would appreciate any suggestions.
