Problem with a calibration point

I received my kit MK2S in early 2017, and then it worked fine with no issues. I fell out of using it but recently I have been trying to use it to no avail.

The issue I am having is with the Calibrate XYZ function. The printer is able to detect the first calibration point out of the four but the second point is unable to be detected. The print head will just keep moving down until it runs into the bed. Here are some of the things I have already tried:
-I have taken apart the bed to make sure all of the axes are aligned properly, and when auto-homed the PINDA probe is withing the circle

-I have tried plently of different heights for the PINDA probe with no luck

-The probe does sense a screwdriver when the print head is in the position of the calibration point it fails at. This leads me to believe it is not a failing wire

-I have also updated the printer to the most recent firmware available for it (3.2.3)

Looking around these forums and other ones, I cannot seem to find anyone else that has had a problem of not being able to detect a specific calibration point. I am very puzzled at this point so I would like to know if anyone has any idea of what the problem could be.

Thanks

RE: Problem with a calibration point

Most likely a broken cable behind the extruder. Before it runs into the bed at the said point, try putting something metallic under the sensor. Btw. The pinda has a LED-ring at its top which is usually on and switches to off when something metallic is registered.

RE: Problem with a calibration point

Failure on the second calibration point - it sounds to me as though the PINDA is too high. Reset the PINDA height to exactly one zip tie thickness above the bed when the nozzle is touching the bed and try again. If it does fail at that height the PINDA is almost certainly defective and will need replaced.
