Print does not attach to bed
Hi,
I am new to 3D-printing.
A few days ago I got a used MK2S, supposedly about 1 year old. It was shipped partly disassembled so I put it together and went through the calibration processes. The messages indicated that everything was ok. Then I tried to print the first layer. No success. No 90° corners and the the few lines at the end just look horrible. The filament did not stick to the bed. But as I watched videos on youtube where people were using all sorts of devices including chisels trying to pry their print off the bed I thoroughly cleaned the PEI bed according to the suggestions by the Prusa team. Dishwasher, acetone, alcohol nothing worked. No change. So I bought a new PEI sheet. Same thing.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

Read two threads here on the forum. Life Z adjust my way and Hyperfine bed levelling. You have to get the nozzle distance from the bed just right using the techniques discussed in those two threads and once that is done you are well on the way to perfect prints every time.

Thank you for your fast reply. I'll check those 2 links.
Re: Print does not attach to bed
Thanks again. I just started reading the Live Z thread and that helped so much. Feeling a lot better now with my MK2.
