Help with diagnosing issue

I've been printing fine and benchy's in the past.

Now I'm having issues with overhangs and general quality, etc that's been getting worse for a while.

I've recalibrated, leveled bed, changed nozzle, new filament, and I'm lost.   Same brands as I've always used.

When I do a benchy it always has issues in the same spot and the pinda probe starts catching the tip of the hull.  I've got the nozzle at least 1mm lower than the pinda and printing anything flat is fine.

Any advice appreciated.  I'm still a relative newbie to this, and the printer was handed down to me.

That is worse on an overhang.  It could be a cooling issue.  Slow it down and cool more.

That was the next thing I was thinking of trying. But what has got me stumped is it's been absolutely fine in the past, and I'm using the same filament as before, same nozzle (and replaced with identical spare).   I'm wondering what could change to cause it to have too high a temp (if that is the problem).

Would a dirty or dusty fan impact it much?  (I havent had a look at it closely yet, will do when I get home)

dust on the fan, can reduce cooling significantly

depending upon how much dust there is!

Looks like it was a fan issue, and literally staring at me in the face! 🙂   Thanks for the responses.  Replacement fan ordered (hopefully right one). 🙂
