First print - can great get better?

Hello everyone! I just finished my MK2 kit build and it went extremely smoothly for my first time attempting any mechanical construction like this! Roughly 11 hours of building and tweaking and I was greeted by the "Congratulations" XY alignment message and a first print!

I am downright impressed by this machine. Images of my first print is below in Prusa Gray PLA off the provided SD card.

Would anymore be able to let me know if the visible cross hatching on the top surface can be minimized further via print settings? Any other thoughts based on what you're seeing are appreciated too!

I don't think you can get much better than that other than sanding/painting the object.

(Note though that the lines may be less visible on other color filaments.)

Yes. It can be better. I printed a sign, similar , but my own, with better results. Top layers!!!!
I use Simplyfy3d as my slicer of choice. Increase top solid layers. I use 3 or 4.

I will try to post a picture when I can. The sign is glued to the top tier shelf of my workbench. The sign I generated was a customisable thingiverse object then sliced by Simplyfy3D.

If the STL file is available, you can reslice it. Change how you place the object on the bed, make it tall and angle it at 45 degees, add rafts and brim. Use a layer height .10mm.
