Octopi in Pi 1B

Hi guys
I have a Raspberry Pi 1B with Octoprint installed.

I can only connect with 11500 baud rate and I see that the prints are slower than than printing directly with the SD card, is this normal? Can be prolem of the Pi? Will I have to buy a Pi 3?

The P1 B is too slow! Get yourself a Pi3 and everything will work as expected.

Firmware is programmed for serial operation at 115200; that's the only speed it will run at.

I just upgraded my mk2s to 2.5. My octopi can't seem to connect. I've looked under settings an don't see the RPI PORT option in the LCD. Any help extremely appreciated.

RE: Octopi in Pi 1B

I am running OctoPi on a 1B. Sometimes I get bad layer shift, no doubt to it not keeping up, but it works 9 out of 10 times.

However, I just ordered a 3b to see how much better it is.
