MMU2 + ASA ?

Has someone tried printing with ASA yet? There are some stock MMU2 ASA settings...

I am interested in ASA because I know that ABS (which seems to be similar to ASA) doesn't string much especially compared to PETG.

Also I like to combine PLA + PETG for prints with supports (but again PETG strings a lot) so is there a possibility that PLA + ASA might work for prints with supports?

RE: MMU2 + ASA ?

Well, marvin-b managed to use ABS, PETG, PLA, PMMA and Flex in a single print. See his post on the forum: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-awesome-prints-hall-of-fame/i-finally-did-it-successful-mmu2s-print-with-abs-petg-pla-pmma-and-flex/

So Printing PLA and ASA should be possible, though not trivial I would guess.

As for using it for supports I don't know how well PLA sticks to ASA. You probably don't want it to stick too well if you want to easily remove the support, but to little adhesion might also be problem when the part on top of support doesn't stick well enough and comes loose?
