After nozzle change problem
I've been successfully printing for many years now. Recently I had to switch my nozzle and readjust my Mk2.5s frame to level it. Now I am only getting this result on the printer's first layer setup. I am printing with PLA at the MK2.5S's standard. I have bumped the Z to 0.7+ and went as low as 0.5 before it stops adhering to the bed. I have looked up "Curling" but most of those posts seem to be about warping. I tested to see if it was just the Prusa's file but nothing else has different results either. I attempted to tighten the X belt but can't get any more tension. Any advice would be appreciated. Attached is what it looks like.
RE: After nozzle change problem
So I gave it another couple acetone baths and moved the live adjust z to 0.66 and it seems to be sticking properly. Running a test print now to see how it does with the brim (something it was murdering badly). I clean the print bed after every print and periodically use acetone so I don't really understand how that fixed the problem.
RE: After nozzle change problem
I think you've identified the problem, surface contamination. The standard alcohol and acetone cleaners get rid of most substances and a wash with plain dishwashing soap and plenty of hot water will shift the rest.
Cheerio,
