XYZ calibration failure on the third spot

Hi,

I've upgraded the mk2s to mk2.5 and did a lot of prints since then... I've did the calibeation process only one time after the upgraded and was a successful on first time without any issues.
My firmware is updated.
I've been trying to do the XYZ calibration and it always fails on the third spot, get the message it can't find it.
I've been trying for about 50 times, with changing the PINDA2 position, downgrade the firmware, cleaning the bed with alcohol, heating or cooling the bed before, changing the order of the calibration types, calibration of the PINDA, reseting the EEPROM settings (M500,M502 commands) before calibrating, turning off the lights, moving away close parts that can somehow interfere with the magnetic field (screws,PSU)... Nothing helps...
What I can see is that there is something bad data from the readings from the PINDA2 sensor at the third spot, I've attached the readings of spot 1,2 and 3 so you can see the difference.

Anyone here can say what is the problem?

Thanks,
Miki

Re: XYZ calibration failure on the third spot

It seems the problem is with the heatbed layout, I've managed to bypass it by added an aluminium tape on the side of the third calibration spot and covering the edge of the pcb with it.
It passed the calibration! And the printer works great now.

I don't know if it's only me with a faulty heatbed but in general for the developers please note that It seems there are two solutions for these type of faults:
Firmware: better algorithem for aliminating the surrounding interferences
Hardware: better layout for the heatbed's calibration layers around the calibration spots.

If anyone encountered this problem know that the aluminum tape is a good bypass solution for now...
