Strange heating pauses
When I checked on my printer during a print, I noticed that the printer was occasionally pausing for some seconds. During those pauses the display read "heating" despite the temperatures being exactly what they were supposed to be.
Has anyone else experienced that?

Try turning off the filament sensor ... report back if the pauses stop.

I just started seeing this problem yesterday after having my MK3 for 10 months. I'm running 3.6.0 firmware, printing from the SD card, and had the filament sensor turned on. Turning off the sensor *appears* to have solved the problem. Hmmmm.

Are you printing with PET by chance?

No, I was printing with Hatchbox black PLA.

If it was glossy it falls in the same problematic boat 🙂
