Selftest failing because of hotend heater/thermistor, which is working fine

I’ve had this problem before and after replacing the hotend heater and thermistor. It used to happen because of a broken thermistor, which i have replaced, but it still keeps happening. I’ve tried wiggling the cable, bending and twisting it in weird ways, resoldering the thermistor header, etc… but the problem keeps happening even though it always shows my rooms temperature: around 26°C (25.8°c). I know it’s not the hotend heater because i can feel it heat up fine. I tried factory resetting the printer but still the same issue.

If anyone has some more troubleshooting steps, maybe even a different firmware, i’ll be happy to do them.

Thanks.

PS: I tested the thermistors resistance and it’s around 100kΩs, which as i’ve researched should be 25°

Update: I tried some more things and i still get the same problem, but now it fails the P.I.N.D.A calibration and i can’t load filament. It does show around the correct temperature and i also checked the set screw, which was fully in.
I would really appreciate any help

RE:

Another Update:

i fixed the self test error with a new thermistor and using a bypass someone found in the press support github, cant find it again sorry. Now i have to calibrate to xyz and the y/heatbed is hitting the end of the frame. i tried resetting the xyz calibration but there really isn’t any way, that i found, to  on,y calibrate the y axis or x axis.

I would reallly, REALLY appreciate any help right now

PS: Don’t know how i didn’t see this earlier but i hadn’t mentioned the model of the printer 🤦‍♂️It’s a prusa MK2.5s with the bear frame upgrade
