Rafts overlapping

New to 3Dprinting. Was going to print a fossil fish key chain. It said to use rafts. Opened Slicer. added the stl, clicked "+" to make 2, clicked "arrange" to separate them and arrange them on bed. Sliced and when it started to print the rafts overlapped. Is this a defect in Slicer?

Doing my thing from my little corner of the world.

Re: Rafts overlapping

No, no error or bug, just move parts more apart manually.

It sure looks like a bug and the workaround to move the parts further apart has already been mentioned. It should be visible in the slicer before it gets to the Prusa.

Re: Rafts overlapping

Hmmm,

I checked it. How many raft layers do you use ?

If I use only 1 layer, it's OK :

But if I use 2 or more raft layers, it's overlapping (and the slicer shows it in the layers tab !).

This is definitely a bug in slic3r ! 😮
