Print stops mid-print. Temps drop to 0 and cooling fan keeps running.

I've had this happen multiple times on different prints.

I'm generating the g-code using PrusaSlicer 2.1.1.

Printer is an i3 MK2.5S with MMU2S running in Single Filament mode. Firmware is 3.8.1-2869.

The print just stops mid-print. The printer head does not move at all. The set temperature for the extruder and bed go to 0 degrees. The cooling fan continues to run and does not stop. There is no error shown on the screen. It's as if the print finished, but it shows a percentage still (this last time it failed at 5% into the print and this shows after the failure).

I've tried different filaments with the same result. I have had some successful prints, but there is no obvious pattern here to the failure.

I've been experiencing this as well over the last couple of days. I just (three weeks ago) upgraded my mk2 to the mk2.5S and I've been having a lot of problems with thermal runaways because the new configuration of the hotend fan seems to be massively too efficient. I thought this particular problem was the same issue, just an unreported thermal runaway. I'm glad you are seeing the same issue. I'll be tracking for any kind of response.

My firmware is 3.8.1-2869. I'm slicing on PrusaSlicer 2.2.0+win64.
