PLA Stuck in Extruder

I recently assembled my mk3s and it printed 2 wonderful pieces and everything was great. Then I printed a larger piece and it failed about 4 hours in. I then tried another file and similar issues were appearing. Thin filament, stringy or not printing at all. I tried everything I could think of and then changed to a new roll of filament. It was fine and then stopped putting out pla completely. I tried removing the pla going through the top and it is now stuck inside. I dont want to break it trying to remove it.  I heated the filament to 260 and nothing came out and I still cant remove it. What should I do?

RE: PLA Stuck in Extruder

Heat up nozzle, open extruder door, grip filament with pliers and pull up firmly while bracing extruder with free hand. It should pop loose.

If not, or filament is broken off, post more details and ideally pics.
