Firmware Update Mistake
In need of help...
I was trying to update the firmware on the MK2.5S that I have, and I thought I had the correct .hex file, well... that wasn't correct, and now I can't even get the screen on my printer to show anything other than boxes.
Where do I go? What do I do? I tried to do a "reset" and I couldn't even get that to happen.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i did same thing and what i did wrong was i chose wrongg hex file. all i did to fix was chose correct file and flashed again and it is ok

Same thing happened to me accept I only have 2 lines of blocks when I power on the printer, but after a few seconds they go away and I am left with a blank screen.

Yes i have done the same i was updating to 3.9.0 on a mk3s and put in mks2s
i thought i could not do any thing about it but,once i had worked out what i had done wrong.I was able to flash it through the prusa slicer, as if nothing had happened.
very easy to do as it was on Git hub, to me the file order was wrong with older FW and printers at the top.

Hi guys, I'm having the same problem as you all, but work the exception of my screen is blank. When I try to reflash, Prusaslicer gives error of flash failure, no communication with Comm 7. The PC is still seeing it in device manager. Anyone have an idea of what to do next? Thanks for any help!!!
