Re: Firmware 3.2.0-RC1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3 and MK2.5
Question:
What is "Stealth mode for Z axis (MK3)"? Less motor current on the Z axis?
Re: Firmware 3.2.0-RC1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3 and MK2.5
Literally all MK2s with the latest firmware are unable to print via OctoPrint.
Have worked for me, i was using the 3.1.0 version.
Now I'm on MK2.5, v3.1.4 works there also with OctoPrint.

Yeah, a firmware downgrade to 3.0.10 or 3.0.9 is the only way to print via OctoPrint on the MK2
It's been this way for 6 months now.

OctoPrint is working flawlessly on my MK2 using 3.1.0 firmware. I never had any issues with LA and 20H+ prints. I'm also using a Pi Zero W for months now without issue, same quality than a Pi3. Remove the Octopi plugins you are not using, keep things simple.
Also, make sure you are using a good quality MicroSD card (i'm using SanDisk Ultra) and a good power supply 2A +. Don't expect good results with an underpowered pi using a poor quality card. This is valid with any Rasperry Pi in any application.

Very weird.
I have two MK2s with this issue, one at work connected to a PC running barebones OctoPrint, one at home running IctoPrint on a Pi2 with quite a few addons.
Both machines are on 3.1.0, both have the 'send additional OK for resend requests' ticked, both randomly stop midprint, sometimes even at the first layer.
When i downgrade both firmwares on the printers to 3.0.9, everything's A-OK, and they never stop printing midprint.
From what i can read in the changelogs, 3.1.0 introduced Linear Advance, and this randomly overloads the Rx Buffer on the board when printing over USB.
Prusa made a clean cut on the MK2 branch and concentrated only on the MK3 branch, since the MK3 had a LOT more problems with the firmware than the MK2 had. (this was around December last year)
LA was disabled on the 3.1.x betas until they rewrote a good chunk of code to avoid buffer problems according to a post made by Josef himself.
The MK2 was left were it was, until they merged the MK2/MK2.5/MK3 firmwares a couple of days ago. (Still no 3.2.0 for the MK2 though)
Re: Firmware 3.2.0-RC1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3 and MK2.5
I installed 3.2.0-RC1 on my MK3 and then did a full factory reset. Now it won't complete X-Y calibration.
