Error mintemp Bed

Hi there I have a  I3 MK2.5  that gives me the error "Mintemp bed". only on first startup in the morning. It works perfectly all other times.

After switch on in the morning I preheat the machine and wait for the erreor then I just press reset and preheat again the nmachine works perfectly all day. can someone give me an idea of the way to stop this error.

Thanks

Bob.

RE: Error mintemp Bed

I've had the same problem with my Mk2.5s.    After examining this problem for awhile what I came to realize is that while my display says the resting temp of the bed is 25, it's actually cooler than 25 and the board simply can't recognize a temperature cooler than 25.  So when you go to heat your printer the bed heating is lagging behind what the Rambo board thinks it should be doing and you get a min temp reset.

To deal with this when I use my printer first thing in the morning I go into Octoprint and set the bed to PLA temp and give it a few seconds to start warming up.  Once it gets to 27 or 28 degrees I turn off the bed heating.  Now that the bed is above 25 I can send a print to the printer and everything works just fine.  If you don't have Octoprint just use the preheat feature on the panel and after the bed temp rises a couple of degrees select cooldown.

This is only a problem for me in the winter time when my room gets down to below 20C, the board simply sees everything below 25C to be 25C, so at 20C the bed has to heat 6 degrees before the system can detect it.  The time lost waiting for this 6 degree increase is what causes the min temp error.

Cheers
