Calibrating MK2.5 with the latest firmware

I just changed the hotend on my MK2.5 (non S), When I try to do a self test, I get an error about the filament sensor not correctly wired. My filament sensor is broken for a long time and I do not intend to use this on my printer, as the laser version from MK2.5 is anyway unreliable.

Unfortunately I cannot pass the calibration so the printer does not let me print, asking to finalize calibration. I' successfully passed all other calibrations, including first layer adjustment, but I cannot pass self test because of the filament sensor. If I disable it, Self Test automatically enable it when started.

Any hint on how to go further?

Thank you.

If the laser is not working for you the newer ir sensor setup is pretty affordable  and comes with the ball and magnets.  You would have to print new extruder body parts though

Thank you for your suggestion, but I just want to disable the filament sensor completely. Unfortunately if I set it to off, the configuration is lost when the printer restarts so is automatically put back to on. I have to manually set it off each time.
