Question about mk2 to mk2.5s upgrade
Hello all!
I just got my mk2.5s upgrade kit for my mk2 and was wondering if I’m supposed to print the full parts for the mk2 to mk2s upgrade, and upgrade it, and then print all the parts for the mk2.5s upgrade and upgrade it?
That just seems a little strange to me to do that. Am I supposed to? Or do I only need to print certain parts from the mk2 upgrade and if so which ones?

That does seem strange.
I can't think of which parts you might need from the 2s at all!
The big differences between 2s and 2.5s are:
Different heatbed but same y-carriage that it attaches to.
Different extruder, different 5v hotend fan that needs a special y-cable, a filament sensor and wiring, different parts cooling duct and a different PINDA2 that also needs a y-cable but same 12v parts fan and same 12v E3D v6 hotend.
Different housing for the Mini Rambo, but the Mini Rambo itself only gets new firmware and a couple of y-cable adaptors for the PINDA2 and the 5v fan.
The y-axis and z-axis are unchanged, I believe. The X-axis has a new carriage to support the new extruder.
I would just print the new 2.5s Rambo enclosure, extruder and x-carriage parts and not bother with the 2s ones. Likewise the firmware.
