Are you serious? Also ordered 2nd december and the support guy told me he can not estimate my shipping date since they are currently shipping late october orders. Is Prusa currently shipping random orders?

They're passed october now or they're all out of order..... mine was in nov and i already have it.

Mailed them and got this reply yesterday:

We've been having issues with the manufacturing process of upgrade kits along with a big demand, which resulted in a delay. We are currently shipping orders from November. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with any accurate estimates for the delivery of your order at this given moment. We apologise for the delay.

Amazing, some guys from the Facebook group who ordered the kit mid and late november also got it shipped already. Somehow the support guy kept insisting they are still delivering late october orders. That's just sad.

I have chated with support yesterday and got the same shit reply. Im really pissed about this...been waiting so long for the upgrade kit and im seing people who ordered after me, receiving their first!

got mine today...

first impressions - nice bed.... steel sheet is awesome. but some black flecks stuck under the PEI sheet. there was bubbles but heat removed them. Fan shroud is warped. No biggie, i can print tons more. the gummies were good.

The thing i noticed the most is the weight of the bed. with the steel sheet on it's about 750g, i think the original was around the 300g-350g?.. but i have to take it off and check. course not a big deal vs glass beds but definitely heavier. this will affect acceleration/jerk settings probably but we'll see. it's nice to have ability to swap them out. also edges are a tad sharp in spots, not bad but could of been buffed a bit.

I have just complete assembling MK2.5 and now I have printed a lot of files now. It is awesome! The 6 months is worth the wait.

My order "on the way". Ordered 10 November 2017. At least... My PEI surface is damaged, I can print only small items. I have printed extruder earlier (for my good).

I wait now for textured steel sheets, It will be awsome!

My order was 3 November and was delivered (to the UK) this morning...

The question now is which version of firmware to go for - as anything higher than 3.1.3 seems to have issues!

Fortunately I do not have to print the new parts (I have a damaged heat bed) as one of you kind chaps rescued me
and printed a set for me - thank you RAM64 🙂

We will now see if it was worth the wait...

I have received a shipping notice today for my order from 6th of November. Should arrive mid next week. I wonder why it's advertised as a 2-3 day service when it takes nearly a week (4 working days if you don't count the weekend). Not bothered too much about it, but it's another reason one could get upset about.

Yeah, Jan 6th here... About time this is getting shipped. The multi-month delivery time for nearly everything I've ordered with Prusa is plain ridiculous.
