MK2s vs MK3s
For someone here I've got a question about feature differences (right out of the box) mk2s vs mk3s. So I bought a mk3s and its up and running. It was $749 vs $599 for the mk2s. I'm planning stage of a small number printer farm of 3-5 machines. The prototype tools I'm building are printing nicely at .3mm layering in ABS and I'll be trying Nylon (non infused) here shortly.
Honestly I'm so new to 3d printing that much of the features go over my head. Are there feature/s of the mk3s that you mk2 & mk2s owners want badly? Are they keeping you from consistent, repeatable and timely prints against the mk3s?
Thanks for your comments.
Re: MK2s vs MK3s
Hi Scott,
the mk2s has a fixed build plate, the mk3 has a removeable build plate... I would not want to go back to the fixed build plate.
the mk3 frame is more substantial than the mk2
The mk3 is quieter than the mk2...
I own both,
I get similar quality from both
